Republican presidential hopefully Mitt Romney surfed his tour bus to Newport Beach on June 1, 2012. His location of choice was the Balboa Bay Club located on Pacific Coast Highway in Newport Beach located adjacent to the Ferrari dealership.
Picketers shown below go toes to the nose with signs and shouts that proclaim their political views. Picket signs messages such as, “Corporations are people too” and “You got pranked by the banks” divulge
The Huffington Post reports that the City of Newport Beach sent Mitt Romney’s campaign a bill for $10,000 to fund the police officer and traffic control services required to accommodate the vehicular and pedestrian traffic generated by the spectacle:
